What is this fundraiser for?
This fundraiser is for a new start-up non-profit foundation called The Foundation for Job Creation. The foundation is trying to open an Idea Development center in Harvard, Illinois . The first of five proposed. The function of the Idea Development Center is to provide various services to assist entrepreneurs , creative types, technologist and scientists. These centers are not incubators. The service centers are entrepreneurial and operate the way a business does. It’s a sink or swim environment. Resources are limited and all concepts will be evaluated monthly. The center will assist in the basics like, suggesting patent attorneys for help ith Intellectual property protection, web development, business plan development and go beyond by providing engineering software and assistance by talented engineers designing the drawings. Also there will be scrutiny by all members as far as practicality, and marketability. All technology will be voted on before a prototype is built. No Idea will be supported if it does not show promising to create real domestic manufacturing jobs.
For our assistance in aiding these entrepreneurs we ask that they give back to the foundation upon their success. The Foundation moves forward securely as t sees success accomplished by its members. The foundation does take a temporary small stake in each prototype. The goal is not to own these ideas . In fact the goal is to help preserve capitalism and promote entrepreneurship.
